What is CAAP?
CAAP is a comprehensive college guidance program. It assists parents and their students in successfully navigating the college application process. Specifically, CAAP helps parents/students find, apply to, and pay for college.
Who is CAAP for?
CAAP is offered exclusively to LVUSD students/parents in the 8-12th grade.
What does CAAP include?
This year-round program includes:
- Free online Webcast library (grade specific) at www.youcangetin.com
- Links to important sites
- Email reminder system
- Annual Planner, and more.
The online Webcast Library is FREE to LVUSD students and parents.
There is a $99 fee per family to attend the 9th, 10th, and 11th grade Workshops.
How do I access the LVEF/CAAP website?
First time LVUSD parents and students will need a username and password to log into the Free web site. To request yours please click here.
If you have previously logged in, but have misplaced your username and/or password, please contact Jennifer Bercy. Be sure to include your student ID number and the name of the school you attend in your request.
CAAP WORKSHOPS & SUPPORT
In-seat Workshops are available for all students in grades 9 - 12. Parents and students are encouraged to attend together. Students must be accompanied by a parent. However, parents may attend without their students. The 2015 schedule appears below. All times/dates subject to change until registration opens (generally the week prior to the workshop).
The workshops are led by Danny Ruderman, a professional college counselor, president of Admit U, and author of The Ultimate College Acceptance Program and The Top 100 Answers To Your College Admissions Questions.
Advance registration for all CAAP workshops is REQUIRED and can only be made online at this website.
- The Online Registration process will be available in theTicker Box on the LVEF Home Page about 2 weeks before each workshop.
- LVEF will also send a pre-Workshop All Call and All Email to parents about 2 weeks before each Workshop. Space is limited and will be allocated on a "first come, first served" basis.
- You may register as a walk-in at the door if space permits..
Student's LVUSD ID number is REQUIRED to register for any of the LVEF/CAAP workshops.

ULTIMATE COLLEGE ACCEPTANCE WORKSHOP 8TH-11TH GRADE PARENTS!
8th to 11th Grade Parents! How would it feel to have an exact plan of what to do to help your child succeed in hight school and get into a great college?
Well you can by attending this Workshop. After working with tens of thousands of families, he created this workshop to give parents the clearest and easiest to understand roadmap to help your children succeed. Topics include: choosing the best class schedule, how to increase SAT/ACT scores, how to match your student with the right college, how to write great essays, and all about financial aid.
COLLEGE APPLICATION BOOT CAMP: The College Application Boot Camp is an in-person or online 2 Day workshop offered at a nominal fee. The boot camp offers step by step instructions on effective essay writing and completing the UC, Cal State, and Common Applications. For more information, or to register "click here"
